Het Noorden

The Mijnbouwkundige Vereeniging is proud to have her own cafe in the city center of Delft. It is open for students every Wednesday evening, and once a month for alumni. You can also rent 'Het Noorden' for drinks and events. If you would like to know more, please send an email to: Beheerder-mv@tudelft.nl

The Mijnbouwkundige Vereeniging is not able to operate the entire association alone; a wide array of specialized committees consisting of passionate members ensure that the the Mijnbouwkundige Vereeniging can vastly expand what it can offer to students.

Every student deserves a break after a long day of studying. To ensure each student is enriched socially as well as enriched academically the Mijnbouwkundige Vereeniging organizes a wide array of events to ensure every student can take a well deserved break.

Barbara drinks

Every first Friday of the month, the Barbara drinks will take place for MSc students, PhD, and alumni of the MV. By pressing the button below, you will find the current list of attendees! Signing up is possible via the Barbara mail or by sending an email to the secretary.

Freshmen weekend

If you are an upcoming freshman and would like to get a preview of the study and your fellow students, sign up for the freshmen weekend. (EJW) During this weekend you get to know your fellow students and you will do a lot of fun activities!

The ‘Mijnbouwkundige Vereeniging’ (MV) is the study association for all BSc, MSc & PhD students of Earth, Climate, and Technology. This includes fields as Applied Geophysics, Geoscience & Remote Sensing, Geo-Resource Engineering and Geo-Energy Engineering. The MV is committed to upholding our more than 130 years of history and traditions, while helping our students and alumni in all of the many facets of Earth, Climate, and Technology.

On May 9th and 10th next year, the famous MV rally will make its return! During this event, we will travel the roads of country and solve puzzles searching for the end location. At this end location we will spend the night, but not before we have had an exquisite dinner. Make sure to keep…
