The ‘Mijnbouwkundige Vereeniging’ organises multiple excursions for their members. Every excursion has his own character, this way there is something for everyone.
Before the openings week (Owee) in Delft starts, the ‘Mijnbouwkundige Vereeniging’ organizes a special weekend for all future AES students. This weekend is a mixture of company visits and group activities. Be sure that you don’t miss this weekend, because it’s the best start of your student life and the first opportunity to get in contact with your fellow AES students. You can sign up at the OWEE sign up form. They named it “eerstejaarsweekend”. For further questions you can mail to Onderwijs-MV@tudelft.nl.
Every year the Sport Committee organizes a ski and snowboard trip during the Christmas holidays. This is a great week where winter sports is combined with many social activities. Normally you can subscribe for this trip from September onwards.
In February the MV organises an excursion for their second years students. During this excursion we will visit companies of all our different master tracks. This is the best opportunity you will get to decide which track you want to do and to see the different possibilities where you could end working.

Our sister societies in Europe organise regularly international student weeks. This is a week full of parties and company visits. You only have to pay for your ticket, the rest is on the hosting society. If you want to experience an international student week, keep a close eye on the website and the ISW blackboard in the MV room. For every ISW there are two places for TU Delft students.
